How does automatic delivery work? Our advanced computer software is able to estimate your usage based on the weather and how your home burns fuel. That way, we can predict when you’ll need more fuel and schedule a delivery well in advance.
Most people don’t realize that many factors affect our ability to deliver propane — weather conditions, driver illness, truck repairs, supply interruptions, you name it. When you get automatic deliveries, we can adjust for those realities and make sure you don’t run out. If you choose to call for each delivery, there’s a risk that you may underestimate the amount of time we need to get to you.
If you own your propane tank, you also have the option of contacting us whenever you need more fuel. While some customers prefer this option, it’s important to note that “will-call” service requires you to frequently check your tank gauge and reach out to us when it reaches around 30%.
